Main serviceElectrical VDC & coordination for electrical contractors.
We model your electrical scope in Revit, coordinate it with the other trades in Navisworks and close the Coordination Issues with your GC before your crews reach the floor. For contractors on commercial, high-rise multifamily, education, healthcare, hotels, data centers and industrial work. Our team works from Colombia (UTC−5); a paid pilot takes about two weeks.
Who it is for
Electrical contractors whose GC requires a coordinated model and who do not have, or do not want to grow, a full in-house VDC team. Also VDC managers who need extra hands during a peak.
- Whole project: we run electrical coordination from the first model to the last issue.
- Team backup: we work inside your VDC team at peak, to your standards.
- Deadline: we take a level, a building or a set of rooms to hit a date.
Where we start and where we stop
We start where your engineer of record leaves off. We model, coordinate and draft from the design documents; design decisions and seals stay with your engineer.
What we model
- Conduit runs overhead, in-slab and underground, with racks and supports when required.
- Cable tray and wireway.
- Feeders, panels, switchboards, transformers and electrical rooms.
- Working clearances around electrical equipment (NEC 110.26).
- Floor boxes, devices, BDA and low-voltage pathways as the project requires.
- Model setup and CAD-to-BIM from 2D design drawings.
How coordination works
Each cycle we bring the latest models from the other trades into Navisworks, run clash tests against the electrical model and log the issues in your CDE. We fix what is ours and raise RFIs or coordination notes for what is not. We read the markups from your PM and field team and turn them into model changes. Every week you get a short report: what changed, what is open and what is blocked by another trade.
Single-line diagrams
We draft single-line diagrams in Revit from the coordinated model, for your engineer of record to review and seal. We do not run electrical calculations.
What we need from you
- Electrical design drawings and specifications.
- The other trades' models, or access to them in ACC or Procore.
- Your Revit template, title block and standards, if you have them.
- One contact person on your side for questions.
Deliverables
- Coordinated Revit model (RVT), level by level, to the agreed LOD (typically 350; 400 when required).
- Navisworks files (NWC/NWD) and clash reports.
- Coordination Issues logged and closed in your CDE.
- Weekly issue report: open, closed, blocked by other trades.
- Installation checklist signed before each delivery.
- Coordination decisions documented, so nobody has to ask twice.
From model to sheets.
Installation drawings come from the same coordinated model.
